Fashion Week Favourites: Autumn/Winter 15-16

Ok so this post is a little late, but with college and everything I didn't have time do to a post of my Fashion Week Favourites back in March.

So here's a quick run through of what I'm looking forward to this Autumn/Winter.

New York, London, Milan and Paris all jammed into one!

Burberry Prorsum
Pattern, Patchwork and Print.. containing fringed ponchos, mosaic encrusted tops with folk dresses and suede patchwork boots, along with multi fringed trench coats and quilted floral jackets. Deep, dark colours like maroon, olive and dark magenta playing a big part.

Felder Felder

Giles
This collection brought with it gothic Victorian vibes, featuring velvet set-ups, crisp ruffled collars and bows, extravagant gowns.

Simone Rocha
'Tapestry and tulle, tweed and lace.'

Vin + Omi

Carolina Herrera
'Exploring interpretations of water'. Ripples and bubbles in cool blues and greys with wavy hemlines.

Chanel
Chanel stole the show at Paris Fashion Week, with a fantastic production, set in a Parisian cafe. With waiters working in the cafe, models entering through revolving doors and taking their seats within the cafe. The collection featured knitted sweaters, tweed skirt suits, mid-length tweed skirts, as well as a pink sweater dress.

Roberto Cavalli

Dolce & Gabbana
'Viva la Mamma' celebrating motherhood. The show included a stage of mothers with their children wearing black silk and lace slips. Mothers and daughters wore matching combinations. 'Sicilian lace dress, Forties skirt suits, fit and flare coats'. There was a recurring motif of a red rose throughout the collection as well as a print featuring the Madonna and child. The show closed with a range of white silk dresses that had been printed with childish Crayola drawings.

Elie Saab

Moschino
The best and boldest til last. Moschino never ceases to amaze me. A nu-rave collection featuring Warner Bros Bugs Bunny, Tweetie Pie and co. Lego-bright colours, quilted puffer jackets, baseball vest dresses, denim jackets, bumbags and bra and baggy short combos.

That's all for this post, hope you enjoyed it and thanks for making it this far. I hope to do a post on 'London Collections Men' next, so stay tuned for that. Feedback is welcome as always, feel free to comment and follow me on Bloglovin' and any other social networks.

Thanks,
