So life well and truly took over in the last few months, but I'm back with hopefully a summer full of exciting content on the way. Beautiful Cherry Blossom, Drumcondra, Dublin. The last three months have been absolutely crazy, since I last posted, I landed myself an interview with an amazing fashion designer in London and somehow managed to get myself a three month internship this summer. So the hunt for accommodation in London, is well and truly underway (if anybody knows of anywhere, send it my way!) So less than a month to go, til I head off to London for three months. So excited! Lots of exciting blog content, hopefully to come from my London adventures and maybe even a possiblity of some vlogs?!? maaaaybe! College has been hectic to say the least. Semester 2 introduced us to weave, with a three week collaborative introduction. Quite therapeutic, if I do say so myself. Below, is some satchels, with my weave samples photoshopped onto them. Image
It's the Big One! The 87th Academy Awards and I've been waiting for this one to come around, it's always been my favourite award show and it alway has the most impressive red carpet. With Best Picture going to 'Birdman', Best Actor to Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything) and Best Actress going to Julianne Moore (Still Alice), the who's who of film industry were all out for the big event. What: The Oscars When: 22nd of February 2015 Where: Dolby Theatre, Hollywood, Los Angeles First up, my favourites: The Jennifer's knew what was up at the Oscars, stealing my top two spaces from the night. Jennifer Lopez stole the show in this stunning nude Elie Saab gown. Covered with sequins, Ms Lopez was a real life princess in this Cinderella-esque piece. Once again, turning up with a beautiful plunging neckline, the American Idol Judge was certainly one of the most talked about looks from the night. Jennifer Aniston turned up in a custom m...

If I'm brutally honest, there was no outright winner for me at the BAFTA's, however I've chosen my top six, so in case you didn't get a chance to catch up on the BAFTA fashion, here ya go... What: 68th British Academy Film Awards When: 8th February, 2015 Where: Royal Opera House, London Laura Bailey wore a gorgeous all white, full length Emilia Wickstead dress. Jenna Louise Coleman looked stunning in a beautiful, pocketed, floral Rochas dress, Jimmy Choo shoes, Kotur bag and Asprey jewels. Keira Knightley turned up in an adorable Giambattista Valli dress, that worked as a great maternity dress, covering her bump. Rosamund Pike wore a beautiful black halter neck dress by Roland Mouret with Bulgari jewels. Douglas Booth was out to impress and that...

Award season is well and truly upon us... and it's Grammy time. Easily in the top 3 of my favourite award shows, if not my favourite. Like come on, music, fashion and Beyoncé all combined.. perfection. Speaking of Beyoncé, she has received more Grammy nominations than any other female artist, with 53 nominations. Bow. Down. Results are in, Queen B walked away with 'Best R&B Performance', 'Best R&B Song' and 'Best Surround Sound Album' and Sam Smith collected 4 Grammys, including 'Best New Artist'. What: The 57th Grammy Awards When: February 8th, 2015 Where: Staples Centre, Los Angeles, California Down to business, first up The Ladies ... Best Dressed: I'm going to kick this off with Taylor Swift wearing this stunning curtain skirted Elie Saab half mini/half gown piece accompanied with magenta pink Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and Lorraine Schwartz jewellery. Possibly my favourite piece of the night, I love the ombre mixture ...
